As professionals and consumers we recognise our obligation to ‘plan for the future’ and work to reduce the impact that our business activities have upon the environment. We therefore take ‘corporate responsibility’ and Government’s commitment seriously.

For us, as designers in the built environment, this means a number of things; it requires that we think strategically about the wider contexts within which our buildings are set, so that they respond to the social and environmental concerns of our time; it also means deploying best-practice in sustainable design so that our projects are ecologically sound. But most of all, it requires that we re-think our own working practices and attitudes as professionals.

We are therefore developing and promoting these principles through our Business Management System, as well as an on-going programme of Continued Professional Development.
